and family group

BG Hôtellerie is a subsidiary majority-owned by
Bourrelier Group and Christophe Havret, CEO of BG Hôtellerie.

Bourrelier Group

Formerly Bricorama, Bourrelier Group is a family business founded in 1975 by Jean-Claude Bourrelier. Since its creation, the group has developed in the specialized retail distribution of DIY products, in France and Spain under the brands Bricorama and Batkor, in Belgium and the Netherlands under franchise with the brands Karwei and Gamma.

In early 2018, after selling the Bricorama brand and all its DIY activities in France, Spain, and the sourcing office in China to the ITM EM group (Intermarché Equipement de la Maison), Bricorama was renamed Bourrelier Group.

Accompanied by its 1,400 employees, Bourrelier Group continues its activities in the specialized retail distribution of DIY products in the Netherlands and Belgium under the brands Gamma and Karwei (68 stores).
Today, Bourrelier Group is a family holding company, aiming to sustain its activities. Imbued with a strong entrepreneurial culture, the leaders seek investments in forward-looking and innovative activities with a strong sensitivity to business, commercial, and industrial projects.

After some minority investments, the group finalized the acquisition of Mavic, a leading cycle industry equipment manufacturer, designer, and manufacturer of high-end bicycle components and accessories, in summer 2020.

In April 2021, the group acquired its first hotel asset, the 4-star Hotel Lord Byron with 52 rooms, located in the 8th arrondissement near the Champs-Élysées.

In November 2022, the 4-star Hotel Mayflower, with 54 rooms (formerly Kapital Opéra), joined the BG Hôtellerie collection, located in the 8th arrondissement near the Opera and Saint-Lazare station.
